de-badging question.

Quick question, do the infiniti letters or logo on the trunk on an 05 have holes behind them? I was hoping to remove mine with just clean up the glue residue but I'm not going to take them off it they leave holes. Also the G35x logo on the right rear next to the trunk, do those have holes or can they be removed too? Thank you.

The Mt Fuji logo in the center of the trunk has two holes behind it. The Infiniti letters and G35x do not have any holes behind them, so you can remove them.

Damn, I really want to take it all off, I know a guy who owns a body shop maybe I'll see what he can do about the holes, i have some other spots I want him to touch up. Is that what the infiniti logo is, the mt fugi logo?

Is there anything like a grill delete available for our cars to go with the bumper you have? I like your grill but seeing as your one of two people with it (I believe thats what I read, I'm scared of how much its going to cost haha).

Yeah, Mt Fuji = Infiniti logo. You'll need to repaint your entire trunk if you fill in the holes and shave the trunk. If you do that I would seriously consider molding a spoiler in, won't cost you much more.

There are more than two Sedans with an emblemless grill. I was the first to rock one with the KuRookie bumper though.

RRYDE (aka caskyline) used to modify them for Sedans but he's busy with other projects these days so he's no longer doing them.

You can use the DIY bigc and I created here to make one: https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...ess-grill.html

Ionic, a sponsor here, is working on making them for Sedans, they already made one for Coupes. Should be ready for sale in 2-3 months hopfeully.

Another thing you can do is take off the mt fuji, break the pins off the back, and then then put it back on, using the top of the logo to cover the two holes back up, thus lowering the logo a bit, and make it look a little more centered.

Thank you. I like that idea. Where are the pins (i assume two?) located on the logo? It does look like it would look better moved down a little.

Yeah. That's a big improvement. It's amazing what moving it just that little bit can do.
