H0TEP, did you use the 3m kit? If not, which one?

 

The brand I used was the Surf City Garage Ultra Clear Headlight Restoration Kit.

This kit required no sand paper, and the guy in the store said it was a good brand so I went with it.

i went back to the oem ones! The bases are pretty ugly the only tho on the on the other ones. The only thing i like better is the built in turn signal led like the Escalade

 

I had those same ones. They were crap but I did like the turn signals. Hot Vegas weather caused them to fall apart

 

Yea mine had small cracks on it and the black paint it came with was all faded. You can barely see out those mirrors. And the power functions were retarded. On one mirror you hit down it went up, you hit up it went down. On the other one you hit left it went right and you hit right to go left

blue dream, nice setup!! Im in the process of getting something similar. Where did you get that sub/box from? a company that used to make them is out of business....
