Now might be a good time to switch to an 03/04 bumper if you can get your hands on a nismo lip or if someone will come out with a replica.

Estimate came in this afternoon at 1800 bux. I laughed. Labor is listed as 40 bux an hour, and recycled parts are to be used. Am I think this is going to be a long uphill battle. Am I entitled to new parts, not out of junkyards? Any insurance ppl want to chime in?

Its all in ur underwriting of your insurance. Also depends on what insurance company. If you didnt request new oem parts when you had the policy made up then they can pretty much replace with what they want.

+2. Make them pay until it's right.
When I got hit, I made sure they did everything right and gave me every last dime.

I had the car brought to a friends shop and put on a lift so I could walk around it with the adjuster and look under it as well so there wouldn't be any hidden damage under the car.

Car is 5 years old so you prob not gonna get new parts. 1800 sounds really cheap. Is it a friends shop?

I doubt they will put junkyard quarters and trunk floor, etc on. But trunk and bumper, yes. You could try and work the forums for some parts.

1800 was insurance adjuster. I been thinking about the strafe trunk. I like the lines and price is right.
