Looking good, Marcus. I really want to do this to the inside of the Bimmer and then maybe attempt something like this on the 944. The 944 lighting job scares me.........

Would scare me too and I'm an Aerospace Electrical Engineer! German wiring is always a cluster f**k.

Well, the 944 doesn't scare me because of the wiring. It's the way the lights are set up. They have these weird panels that reflect the light....I dunno. It's weird.

I will say this, though. No electrical system scared me more than me Fiat X1/9 haha.

The wiring system in my grandad's '84 Merc 300D made British automotive wiring look sane.

I made the mistake of telling him I would put a newer pioneer CD/MP3 deck in it... bad idea

Definitely working on setting one up Mike. Once he finishes my swap and does an 03-04 I'm hopeful that we can get a group going for the first batch of people that want to do this. Will keep you posted.

Wow that looks great. I'm not too interested in modding my car much but if I did one thing on the interior, I'd get rid of the cheap looking orange and go for all white if possible. Is the radio still orange?

I'm local and I'd be interested in this. Thanks for the post

Thanks man. All of the buttons on the OEM radio are white. The letters on the screen of the OEM radio are still amber. Sean said he'd have to think about how to change the color of the text on an OEM radio. I have an Avic D3 that I'll be installing in the near future, so my OEM radio won't be a part of my final setup.

Cool that you are local, you'll be able to get this swap done without having to take your car apart.

Danny does need an 03-04 car, but he's gonna work with someone local. I wonder if he can do green, hmmmm....I'll have to ask. That would be beyond sick on your car!
