not to threadjack or anything but my my car was sanded down to bare metal before i sprayed it because of the dings and etc. i sold the car shortly, never got the chance to finish it. i have too many toys. I was going to throw this trunk away it had so many scratches, oxidation, pressure cracks and so forth. I fiberglassed the cracks, sanded all the scratches and oxidation out and sprayed away. It was time consuming but well worth it, if I had pics of how it use to look you wouldn't believe me.

Again, op has great taste for doing that to his cf trunk haha.

I noticed this thread has not been posted in forever!

Any updated pictures of this car, or is the owner/car not around anymore?

He's still around. He went by my job about 2 weeks ago with the car and he showed me that he needs valve cover gaskets pretty bad so his car is probably under the knife getting that taken care of. Figured I would just chime in on that.

Awesome good to hear he is still around and hopefully he gets everything fixed up. Would be nice to see some updated pics as sadly I'll never get to see this car in person.

I'm really into custom color G's
