TycoRC is having a hard time choosing new kicks
No worries...just wanted to say that cause I was confused by it all before I purchased my first set of coilovers. Yeah, strut is shock + spring + shock absorber and more on other cars.
For those confused on how True Coilovers work, this is back when I first installed my coilovers awhile back and a SSR GT3 test fit

I use to run Stance GR+ true coils but they were way too stiff for me after a while. Sold them and went with the LX oem style instead. Tyco...true coilovers have a larger shock in the back which is why it is closer to your rim. I had the same issue but mine was hitting and I had to raise the car and eventually buy different tires...I failed at getting it all right when I got this last set of rims lol
