Back in action

So back in Sept my car was crunched... after a lot of waiting and a lot of phonecalls with insurance my car is back in action...

thread with pics of damage:
https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...s-who-won.html

So they tried to dick around with me and give me all salvage parts. I rejected two bumpers and ended up with a brand new rear bumper. I also got the trunk from Strafe, but it was right before they released the V2 trunk so I had the doggy filled in... Im pretty pleased with how its come out sofar, but im still a long way from being done with the insurance... I am now seeking a lawyer to go after the remainder of my out-of-pocket expenses and after all the BS stuff they have denied, and I am definitely going after diminished value... but im just happy she is back in my driveway...

Very clean. Looks similar to CSPs ride in the beginning.

Why didn't you just entirely shave the deck lid?

Shaving the entire handle I think would have been alot of work. It seemed like it was a weak spot on the trunk and I didnt want to have to cut out the entire piece and do a FG patch... It was just easier to epoxy the doggy and hand it over to the shop for install and paint... I have the emblems sitting in a box.... not sure if I want to put them on again

The lip on the trunk looks very good, you are the first one with an LS with the Strafe trunk. I wish the trunk overall had a tad better fitment. I definitely would have shaved and filled the entire trunk, looks a bit awkward as is IMO. I would leave the emblems off for a cleaner look.

Nice Silver emblemless grill.

An Ionic front OEM replica lip would compliment your front end off nicely.

Hehe. He's the 2nd LS Sedan on here, other than myself, to have done a Silver emblemless grill. Looks good.

The grill looks great. I think it's a little odd for the doggy and the little button at the same time, but do like the way the Strafe trunk looks. Shaving the doggy plate definitely made it cleaner. Love the color! LS FTW.
