A few shots of the new paint
More pictures to come in a progress thread once I get a chance.
My total repaint is finally done. My paint was OB and it was in bad shape (plus as I found out black paint is a PITA), so I got it painted G37/370Z red ("Vibrant Red/Solid Red"). I also had:
fresh black put on the roof
battery covers shaved and painted
fender wells painted black (details details details)
rear fenders rolled (for future aftermarket wheels)
grill painted black
door molding deleted
spoiler removed and holes patched
trunk emblems shaved
door handles painted (chrome trim to be covered in black vinyl in the future)
headlights polished and clear-coated
OEM lip and splashguards* added
Window bases painted gloss black
i think that's it.
There were some serious complications with the paint job, but in the end the shop came through with solid customer service. TNT Auto Body in Sacramento did all of the work. Thanks to Tony and Dave. I'd like to put an extra thanks out to Dave for taking the leading on resolving the issues I had. He was really a great go to person and went above and beyond.
BTW, IT DOES NOT NEED A DROP. THAT'LL DROP ME OUT OF THE STOCK CLASS IN AUTOCROSS.
Feedback welcome

Wow. That's really red!
Shaved door moldings are soooo FTW
Oh, and just a tiny FYI: Those are "splashguards" not "mudguards"
Yes, it's a minor technicality, and yes Nissan picked some stupid names for those parts. But hey, might as well call them properly.

look's great, good job
as for the shaved moldings, i like how they look front the rear 1/4 view but from the front 1/4 view w/your front setup, it kinda feels like something's missing.
