how the heck do you adjust these damn things. i need to make them so they are not so damn low in the rear... they are not on the car yet but i would like to know how to adjust them before i put them on. since its a true coilover setup im assuming i just need to make it longer. but i cant figure out how. i have turned all the collars in every combination i can think of but nothing seems to be making them taller.

here is a picture of the rear one for reference.

back the bottom collar off the fork. then turn the fork down away from the collar and its longer

fyi, dont mess with the collars by the spring. you will change the preload

awesome. so i changed the preload then haha. ill put it all back to wher eit was when i started haha.

so i have the top colar which is the big one. the small one touching that right under it andthen the very bottom one that is also a small one thats about 1 inch away in the picture. i need to loosin he very bottm one?

yes the very bottom one. Depending on the threads determines which way you turn it but you want it away from the fork. After its backed away from the fork you will then be able to turn the fork and lengthen it

Oh i got my compressors and valves in today. suppose to have the struts and bags in on monday. Get to use ur advice again ftw

i cant seem to get that once to come loose. if i put 1 tool on the bottom one and the other on either of the other colars. the other colars just come loose

put the fork in something so it can be held still and just use one fork and turn that one collar or wait til you have it installed then try to turn the collar
