Cholea's Extremely Slow Progress Thread.

Waddup fellas, decided to post up a small progress thread. Nothing too fancy because I don't own a fancy camera or anything lol. I would like too but my digital camera runs out of battery too quickly and I don't want to get it dirty while I work lmao.

So special thanks to Dustin @ Strafe for hooking me up with this K2 bumper. I don't know where people get that there stuff has bad fitment but my k2 fits great, it made the whole retrofitting process easy cus it was a good fit. So as some of you may know, I didn't like the grill that the k2 for the sedan's came with so I chopped it up the first day I bought it. I was regretting it at first because I didn't know what the hell I was doing.. but after a few months of taking my sweet *** time and being precise it worked out great. I couldn't do this alone obviously, my friend who is 100x more OCD than me helped me out to get good fitment when chopping up my bumper. And as a lot of you may have saw, my bumper has been in like 2 seperate pieces for like months lmao.

Before

Here's the pictures..

Here's a sideshot, which I like a lot better!

And as many of you know, I got duped on some BBS wheels *sigh lol. And I finally fixed the main problems with my suspension not inflating. I went to a professional truck shop and they were able to help me with everything ironically. I totally forgot most trucks out there are on bags lol so who better to ask than them?!

I don't have any pics yet of the bags inflated, or my trunk setup. I'll get some soon. I decided to change it up and tuck away my valves because I like to have trunk space. I will shoot some more pics tommarow because I officially get to move it around tommarow when I move my switch to the front of the car. (It's in my trunk for a quick test)

I do realize my pictures are dark, I'll get better pics tommarow! But I'm loving my K2 front end with the oem grill.. I believe I'm the second one on here to do it. I just need to touch it up, smoothen the surface & put another layer of glass so it won't crack and stuff in the long run.

My Suspension Specs Are..
---
400C 100% Duty Cycle - Viair Compressor (I plan to put 1 more..)
3/8" Valves
AirLift LifeStyle Bags w/ MDU Coilovers in the front.
AirLift Dominator D25 Bags in the rear.
5 Gallon Polished Tank

Thanks bro, I need help retrofitting my FX35 projectors, they are too big for the top housing but I don't wanna put them on the bottom =/ I like my foglights/highbeams. Once I figure out how to fit these, I can lose my ricer glare.

The K2 + OEM grill is a killer combo. What are you dropped on and how much clearance do you have?

I'm on AirLift LifeStyle Bellow-Over Bags in the front w/ MDU Coilovers. My original bag shocks were blown, the guy sold me some blown shocks but I couldn't check for leaking because the bag was covering everything up. So I put the easy street bags over my coilovers, what a sick combo!! And I have AirLift Dominator D2500 Bags in the back. I would tuck but I need a roll and a camber kit. I probably need to run just one degree of camber to get my rear wheel to tuck. The front tucks perfectly.

If my front shocks magically blow out on me, I'm gonna buy another set of MDU Coilovers and slap a bag on it again lol. I love these coilovers man, cheap and works real well.

Lookin' good so far. Definitely roll your fenders flat and get a rear camber kit so you can dump it.

Shane and Dranom both have fender rollers. If you get it from them might as well just have them do your fenders for you, they both do excellent work. Shane pulled my rears (5mm) and pinched my fronts flat and did a phone book pull.
