With a title like that, I fear you may have grossly oversold this thread

Ok... it is pretty epic I'll admit
It was kinda funny that the real progress thread didn't start until the 10th post in

Looking forward to seeing more updates to this thread, you have impeccable taste for clean mods

And I think it's just fitting I have a couple of your old pieces, seems now that they just belonged there.
We should start a list of people on 'driver who have some piece of Marcus' car!

That was the point, the thread was originally intended as a joke hence the title. Then the boys started asking for moar (no surprise there, we always want more don't we), and it turned into an actual progression thread. I'm afraid there won't be too many more updates, I'm pretty much done with her for a while. I just bought one of the new shift ***** Killjulez made and want a BBK or Brembos. Other than that I can't think of anything else I have in the plans for 2011 (except maybe the X bumper and respray).

Thanks everyone else for the kind words.

I know right? I originally wanted the hyper silver version, but I have yet to find a set for sale after almost 2 years of looking. I missed out about a year and a half ago on some that were for sale here by a Z owner. So when I saw the chrome version for sale I thought I'd at least take a chance and if I hated them just turn around and resell them.

IMHO they work for 2 reasons: they are a simple design (busy chrome wheels look like crap) and my car has the silver/chrome accents around the windows and on the door handles. Helps tie in the wheels and when I open the hood to show off the engine bay, it really accentuates the chrome plenum. In an eerie way it just kinda all fell together to create the theme. I like to think it was just meant to be.

^^that's probably their strongest selling point, comfort of ride. They definitely aren't for the folks that want to slam their ride. I am dropped 3" over the stock height but I drive a lot for work. So a comfortable ride was my #1 criteria and these delivered that. I'm very happy with them.

Thanks man, the new grill will really set it off I think. Just need to get the lip repaired and the front end resprayed and she'll be all good.

Hell naw, she will always be my DD. Goal has always been to get her to 200K miles and I'm sitting at 87K as we speak.

Thanks guys, you've been a part of my progress; still loving the Tanabe coils. I speak highly of you every chance I get, hands down one of the best vendors on Driver.

I just saw your reply to my question, that's what i need comfortable coils, i had BC racing coils they were nice but still stiff at the softest settings.
