My Progression/Intro Thread

I have a '03 IP Sedan that has been in the family since new in '02. It's got plenty of miles on it and has ran pretty much flawless for the last 160,000. I totaled my previous car and decided against jumping back into payments so I bought the G off of a family member. I've always been into big trucks so this is my first car that I have modded. All work is done by me (minus body/paint work).

Here is the list of current mods in order of purchasing:

-Tint 15% if I remember correctly
-HKS LS Coilovers
-Stillen Intake
-19" BBS RS-GT Wheels
-Nismo Side Skirts (not on car yet, need to get painted)
-Strafe Nismo Front Bumper and Rear lip (waiting for paint)
-Kenwood DNX 9960 w/ Sirius and Ipod Connect
-JDM DD and A/C unit
-2 JL 10w6v2's and JL 1000/1 amp
-Coupe Front Seats
-Tanabe Exhaust
-M2 "HR" Y-pipe

Think thats it for now on mods. Soon to come is black vinyl over all chrome trim, a new grille or painted grille, black vinyl roof, and black headlight housings.

I dont have a picture of it when it was completely stock but you all know how that looks anyhow.

Anyway, onto the current pics...

This is with coilovers and wheels:

Interior coming out:

Double Din in:

Exhaust going on:

And how it is currently sitting:

Don't plan on doing much else to it other than the cosmetic stuff listed above. Also been tossing around the idea of powdercoating the wheel faces bronze, but we'll see.

Have you ever had to replace your starter motor or alternator?

Both. It will look cleaner and last longer if done by a shop

Vinyl lasts 7yrs give or take. It fades and could peel. Paint lasts the life of the car. Painted gloss black is the way to go

Looks good, the vinyl on the window was definitely the way to go for me. I like that exhaust for sure. Load a sound clip if you can! I like the idea of doing the roof as well. Have fun!

Much better to do vinyl on the windows trim for those that don't know. Chrome doesn't hold paint well
