The time has come to move on from the G. Since I acquired a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon from my friend, I decided I didn't really need another practical car in the fleet and I could get a more sporty car. The G35 was my 1 and only car that had to do everything from Commuting, picking up clients, carting the dog around, auto-xing, ski trips, ikea, etc. Because of the lack of fold down rear seats, the Thule Rack was really a great investment for the G. On to the pics!

When I first picked it up. It came with Coupe 19's painted gunmetal. In the background is my old maxima before it sold.

Agreed. This blows to see this car being sold. Especially for an old BMW and a bugeye WRX lol. I have always loved this G. She was so sexy with the roof rack.

sucks your letting your G go. Never was much of a wrx fan <EVO lol...but im also loving your M3 im jealous.

 

I really do love this car. THe 6speed adds a whole new dynamic to the G35 driving experience, that is for sure! I have already put 14k miles on this thing since I got it.

 

Be careful with the WRX if it's an early 02 MY. M3 looks nice and sounds like it will be a great weekend car and you can't beat a AWD wagon as a DD.

yeah it's an early MY02. The most fragile trans. I'm not going past stage 2 on it. It's been stock all it's life (140,000 miles), all the maintenance has been done on it, and has had syn oil changes for the life of the car. It doesn't burn a drop of oil, it's running great. I just did the Timing Belt/Waterpump for good measure since I plan to keep it for the long haul.
