Theres a couple silver/grey G's that have done it, regardless of car color, the molding looks a whole lot better blacked out.

Strong disagree, it looks fine on white, and some of the richer colours.

It looks cheap unless you do it body colour, IMO, just blacking it out on a silver/white car doesn't look good, at all.

i dont really like the chrome
yea chrome is nice but i dont like chrome rims eather
for me its black>chrome
i think it would look nice since the windows are tinted pretty dark
does anyone have pictures of a silver g with the black moldings
and would flat black or black with a clear coat look better?
oh and the door handles too

theres a piece inbetween the front and rear windows. You should paint it to match that. Or, if you go with a different color, paint that part as well.

Agreed. If it's paint matched to the center column that's not bad. Personally i'd be doing the center column at the same time to ensure it ALL matches.

As well, if you can get it high gloss and match the window tint colour that will look good too.

Flat black, satin black, etc doesn't look good even on a black car IMO. It needs to be a gloss on those areas otherwise it clashes HUGE with windows and the car's paint.

Only lower valance/lips can get away with flat black/satin black, it cannot go in between two glosses. Does that make sense?

yea thats true its would look good with the center column and the moldings matching the windows with a high gloss
black is the color you can make the most glossy with a reflection like a mirror
im goint to see if i can do that tomorrow
you guys think i can sell the rims faster if i paint them black?
as for the door handles i dont think they would look good glossy black i think they would look better the color of the car

Rims usually lose resale value when you paint em. So i would try to sell em as is or paint em silver so they look oem

After reading all 8 pages all i gotta say is Bro i don't know why it's hard for you to take advices. No one is hatin on you cause you're 20 and own a G...I was 19 when I bought my 06 coupe and no my parents didn't buy it for me either I pay for my own gas insurance car payment help out with rent ect..after a year on this forum I learned a lot all I'm tryin to say is if you bought the car to flip it like your other cars don't mod it just fix what needs to be fixed. But if you're gonna keep it listen to these guys here and take advices or if you don't agree don't act like an ignorant teenager and say NO! just say you disagree and give them a reason why.because they're trying to help you get the car to look its best...just look at candlestickpark and blue dream's Sedans....you don't have to go all out but that should give you a picture.

Thanks for the kind words^^ but my car doesn't hold a candle to Marcus'. And since the OP doesn't like chrome I highly doubt he'd be impressed with mine.
