CF wrapped Grill Emblem

Gentlemen, if you've ever considered wrapping your Grill or emblem in CF, this is why you don't want to:

Though, man it looks good OFF the car

Just thought I'd share my lil test in case someone wants to know how it looks.

If I really wanted to do this, I'd have it hydrodipped.

Wasn't horrible but not easy either. Thanks though. It's that DiNOC stuff from 3M, not real deal, but it goes on very nicely.

Meh for me personally the CF look anywhere on the grill or exterior for that matter just doesn't fly on this car, more-over because it's black.

It was worth the time to find out how it looked, I took pictures and peeled it off immediately

it would look better with the top part of the emblem (the part that sits on top of the grill) painted black

Thought the EXACT same thing.

I bought enough to do the grill thinking the same. As soon as I layed a test strip on the one bar (see pic), it was clear that it wasn't going to work.

Real CF would look marginally better, no doubt. Dunno, this just isn't a spot to do CF, just doesn't work.
