ive been so lazy to start this thread out, but finally had the time to begin a progression thread from when i first got my sedan in april of 2011. it may not be as long as some of yalls progress, but here it goes anyways. just wanna start off by saying thanks to everyone thats helped me out here in the forums! without yall, i would have no idea what in the hell to do and where in the hell to go. thanks again, and im glad to be a part of a welcoming community. here it is dated with lots of pics.




4/4/11 - found the G in the back of momentum bmw's used car lot, same day it was traded in, also joined g35driver.




4/5/11 - took delivery of my new used G sedan.



4/21/11 - joined the strictlygs forum, (the modding bug started here)



4/23/11 - first meeting with the strictlygs team



5/12/11 - LED kit interior/exterior arrived from a vendor on g35 driver & pioneer double din installed



5/16/11 - clear corners arrived



6/16/11 - stillen intake & ztube installed

forgot to take a picture of this.

7/23/11 - planet zero meet



8/1/11 - received magnaflow exhaust, installed with coupe midpipe & HR y pipe



8/14/11 - cars & coffee meet



9/8/11 - eibach springs, plenum spacer installed, grill painted



10/7/11 - nismo a34 wheels installed



3/7/12 - strafe headlights installed



4/19/12 - mdu coilovers installed



4/24/12 - finally debadged



5/6/12 - all team bash



5/26/12 - forum member meet & greet



6/9/12 - kurookie,nisrookie, and nismo rear lip installed!




6/23/12 - put on the new wheels with a little poke in the rear



09/25/12 - installed the revised 05-06 tails



09/26/12 - started on the polished engine bay, removed the strafe headlights, mesh reinforced



10/10/12 - added strut bar, nrg hood struts, and polished oil cap



1/29/13 - added the 05-06 reverse lights to complete the rear tail light conversion



2/7/13 - got an offer I couldn't pass up, GTR painted tail lights.



2/16/13 - walled off the subs in the back, some designs will be added as well in the future.



2/17/13 - first rolling shot, and how she sits today



3/22/13 - added brembo BBK and matching gold lugs

 

Nice. Next mods should be m3 trunk lip, 05-06 tails and remove pinstripe

I'm planning in getting MDU coils myself. How's the ride quality?

 

i'll be selling mine soon if your interested...don't want much probably 500 shipped with upgraded real true style rears..they ride smooth and can get the sedan pretty low i have the raped sideskirt to prove it lol just wish they were a bit stiffer is my only complaint
