I'm aware that the fitment will not be 100% on non oem body parts. However, i have seen the decklid made by r1autoworks and it looks very good for non oem.

fitment is solely based on the shop who can adjust the trunk properly. All aftermarket trunks require adjustment out of the box. Prep work with the fiberglass pieces is also an aftermarket industry norm.

so i'm guessing that there aren't any hd trunks that you could just bolt right up out the box then?

^they are aftermarket parts. nothing aftermarket will "bolt right up". If you want that then stick to OEM.

There's no fun in oem, a little modification never hurt anyone

There's also no fun in paying extra money for correct fitment.
