Thanks guys. If you need advice or tips just ask.

I ordered about 6 yards. The headliner itself is around 4 yards I think. The extra 2 yards is for the A B and C pillars. Might also want to buy extra incase you screw up.

Also I don't really recommend buying suede from fabric stores and what not. It's not made to take abuse from sunlight. The suede I bought and used from yourautotrim.com is suede that's made specifically for automotive applications.

You don't really need any trim removal tools to take the headliner out. Just a flat head and Phillips screw driver. I believe there is a headliner removal DIY on here.

By the way I did think about using real Alcantara suede but at $100 a yard I'll pass. Plus I here Alcantara suede is very difficult to work with because of how thick it is. I've compared samples of Alcantara to the suede I used and it's not that big of a difference. Only thing I notice is that the Alcantara suede holds its texture better. And what I mean is that when you rub it you don't really get those swipe marks that you do with the suede I used. Basically Alcantara doesn't need brushed as often.

I got the same exact stuff from that website. I got the front pillars wrapped and now I'm working on the actual liner. I can't seem to get it stretched around the sunglass/map light housing. It bunches up in the corners and doesn't lay flat. Any tips man? IDK what to do and I have already wasted too much fabric by gluing and ripping back up. If I get a chance I will post a picture of my problem.

Sorry to hear you're having a problem man. Hope I can be of assistance....

This could be caused by a few problems. How much glue are you using? Are you spraying the back of the suede and the actual headliner itself? You need to spray both and spray the glue in a overlapping pattern. You need to let the glue settle for 5 minutes before bonding. If not you could cause the glue to soak through and it won't stick. What glue are you using?

And last but not least make sure you're stretching the suede over.

Here is how mine came out:

Yeah I am using the 3M-90 Spray Adhesive. Spraying on the liner and the fabric, I haven't being doing an overlapping pattern but I do let it set, maybe for 2-3 min, it doesn't soak but I'll try to let it set longer. Man yours turned out perfect! I will post a pic here soon to show you what is going on. Also what did you use to paint the rubber-ish sunroof trim ring? Did you cut out the sunroof and MAP light holes first?
