Its been a while....
Bought my car in 2005 with 28K miles on it. Started off with a Powerlab ST, which didn't fit. So I sold it for a Greddy TT...which had a cracked manifold (that I discovered during installation and was NOT disclosed to me)....so I sold it for a V2 Vortech.
In the nearly 9 years Ive had the car (HOLY CRAP) I've had 3 kids, moved, started school, got into aquariums...basically I neglected the car. Things are FINALLY starting to settle down somewhat, so I can do some work on my car. It is nowhere near the same league as many people on this forum, but for me, its something I've always wanted since I finished RN school: Have a 4 door; slam it; roll on some nice wheels; sport a BBK; and finally, boost it.
I've done all the work myself, and while it may seem easy...this is the first car I've ever wrenched on.
As it stands right now, here's all I've done:
Megan coilovers
SPC F/R camber kit and rear toe bolt
Wilwood 6/4 BBK
Work VS-XX 19x10 +22 all around on 245/35/19
Vortech V2 supercharger
DW 600cc injectors
Walbro 255lph
HKS Axle back
2.5" Test pipes (I forgot the brand, haha)
Innovative LC-1 wideband and Innovative dual Oil pressure/temp gauge. I mounted it in place of the ash tray. Not the best job, but not terrible for a first timer.
Next weekend, I'm picking up a used Motordyne XYZ and exhaust from a buddy on a sick deal
Plan is to get it tuned at Churchs end of the month (when I'm on vacation from work)
Down the line, hoping to take it in for paint; build the motor; wire tuck and engine polish; and who knows..whatever budget allows.
