That's the exact factory two tone of the dash. I didn't want to change the dash out so I went with the colors and made the best of it, i wish I could have done black but at the end of the day I know my setup is very unique at least lol.
Ahhh, Makes sense. That's actually my favorite part. Once the car is painted it will tie it all together since it's going that orange color. I couldn't do a neutral color since I was going full custom, I wanted it to pop. I'll try to get pics up with the cars color included to see how it all meshes together.
If the car was going red that would have been nice but I'm in love with mango tango orange. Not only is it my favorite color, but it's very very unique, and my gauges already match. With just a touch of gold pearl in the paint, matched up with some dark graphite rims and highlights on the car it should come out exactly how I imagine it in my head. I wish I could expedite the process so I can share my vision with you guys but I need to take it slow and do quality work.
Totally unrelated but I was super excited today, I bought this 92 civic sedan when the guy came by the shop. 90k original miles, the guys mom was the original owner, was hit in the rear but I got it for 300. That's going to be my new daily driver after its fixed up. It will replace my one owner Integra with 350k miles that I use daily! So my sedan will be the weekend car, civic the daily beater and if all goes well I'll buy the 240 sx I want for 600 and use that as a project. Sorry to go off track but I was happy as hell today and wanted to share.
Yeah a mini fridge would be pretty easy if you wanted, I thought about it but honestly wouldn't even use it so decided against it. But yeah it has been done before.
I would have put orange suede on the inside door panels. The beige hides how nice everything looks but, the suede headliner and sued pillars along with suede door panels would be killer. Or maybe grey on the doors with orange stiching would bring it all together better.

The reason I Decided to go with the tan with orange stitch is because the handle portion that is usually that brushed aluminum look will be color matched to the car, with a solid orange behind that it would be too much so once it's all done it should tie together pretty decent but I'll post pics up and keep you posted with the progress. Maybe if it doesn't come out how I want I'll take your advice and try to do it in suede I like that idea. That's a pretty cool idea, I actually went through a few concepts before deciding on the current setup.
