Custom VIP rear bucket seats, center counsel.

So my car is already pretty crazy on the outside with the cowl hood, and other bits I've made in the shop so I'm ready to do the interior to match. I'm thinking about trying to make my rear seats similar to the ones in the picture, I want to extend the counsel all the way to my front section where the rear ac vents are. Now my exterior is a mango tango variation off the new challenger so I need opinions on the inside. I'm thinking brown and tan like my dash, just a classy look. I'll start uploading pics tomorrow when I tear into it. Feel free to let me know what you think, good or bad I appreciate any opinions.

Those i like better in concept. Even the first one with the low mount DVD player would be far more useful than a cocktail tables.

The G35 sedan has the most comfortable rear seat i've ever say in, especially with the reclining back option (which always gets a positive comment from friends who discover it from the first time). I always thought if if had a full center console it would be even better with usable cup holders, USB charging ports and maybe TV/Radio controls.

Yeah that's my goal, a combo of the 3. I want to keep the reclining seats like you mentioned, then have a tablet, cup holders and the rear ac. My vision it to have it super comfortable with the tablet for the games, movies or whatever you wish to use it for. It will be a trial and error process to get it where I'm satisfied with it but when it's done it will be unique.

Thumbs up

Awesome idea. Curious to see what it looks like. I've always thought it would look great with that concept. DOMO

That's a lot of time and money to spend on someone else's excessive comfort. Haha are you a chauffeur?

I run a custom paint and body shop so get a pretty solid deal on anything crazy that I think of. So time is what will get me at the end of the day not the money. I have my daughter that a cart around all the time so I thought it would be neat to give her a nice area in the back while we make our 45 min drive into town more manageable. Not to mention the exterior of the car is one off so I might as well go over the top with the inside as well. I have progress pics I'll post shortly.

Rough idea of the seat inserts, the outer edge will be that same brown from the dash. The stitch is the same orange the car will be.
