Chris, been away for a few days, just now seeing what you've done with the grill so far. Looks awesome man!
Are you going to dremel out the back section in the middle that the emblem snaps into? I guess if you paint it black it wont matter that much, but my grill is silver so it stood out like a sore thumb.

Thanks Marcus!
Yeah, I was looking at that when I was making the forms for the back. I'm going to paint it first and put it on to see what it looks like. If the black hides it enough, I'll leave it as is. I already got the dremel and bit on stand by incase I don't like it I havent touched it in the past two days....I'll see if I can continue tonight.

I would imagine your "99%" perfect would exceed my idea of perfection Papa, lol. Thanks for attaching the link for me. That will be a great help. I am planning to paint mine a darker gray, like a gunmetal. I think if all my accents are GM on my BS sedan it would be different. I couldn't decide if I wanted them to match my car, or go black. It's the best of both IMO.
Marcus your the silver looks great! Really accentuates your G.
I'm glad you posted a close-up of your lights Mike, I have been looking forward to that. One day I will do mine too, but will probably need ALOT of guidance. I am so nervous...is the only way to do it to bake them? (still very much a newbie at all of this. But DIY is the only way I will attempt things like this. That way if I mess it up I only have me to blame, plus it's so rewarding to see it after all the hard work and how great it looks...I hope ) The grill is closer to my comfort level. Heaven knows I am really good at sanding and painting ...lots of practice.
SD, I think the gloss black roof looks really great. I had to do a triple take the 1st time I saw one.

Edit: Props to you for going for it on your own! YOu can do it!
