He sold it before I met him. Mike Maez got a good rig shot of my car for the Modified feature but I haven't seen it yet.

HAH! That's hillarious. I actually started writing an email a few days ago that they need to check out some of the cars here, and mentioned you (TTrank), Papa, Marty, Etc...

When will the feature be out?

I introduced Mike to Marty at HIN last year. Marty said he wants to wait until the car is done before any press. Marty's car would be a cover car for the mag of his choice...

I think it will be in the June issue which should be out late April to early May?

Not changing any bolts out yet. Just adding some chrome caps over the tops of the hex bolts on the plenum to see how I like it. I will def do a write up if I decided to swap bolts out.

Thanks for the info on the bolts.

Yes, please do this Chris!
Don't you also have a polished timing cover? If you do, you need to tuck that front wire harness and lose the cover.

No problem on the link. That site has alot of nice shiny bolts and stuff

Thanks, I'll do the same. I'm going to start cleaning up my engine bay in the near future, just have not decided how far I'm going to go.

DIY!!!!

I want to tuck mine but need a free weekend or a daily driver. 3 small kids make it very hard to find a full weekend .
A DIY would sure help save some time. I'd pitch in $20 toward some details.

A DIY for this would be sweet.

I would be getting A LOT of help from friends who have done it before, no way could I do this on my own. Feeback I've gotten from them is that you can't really write a DIY for a wire tuck. I think the basic ideas behind the tuck are posted up in the Engine Bay Pics thread.

Cut 1 wire at a time
make about 200 extensions for however long you need to go with it to tuck it
solder 1 extension at a time.
make sure to use wire loom.

tada you're done.

That's the gist of it at least :lmao:
