Quote: Thanks!

Did you get your 3M clear Bra from the Dealer? I am thinking about getting one but didn't want to shell out $1295 for it.
I worked a deal through my dealer. They job it out and I know the company that they use to do the install are some of the best around so I went with them. I got my 35 % tint plus the full front end 3m clear-bra including the bumper wrap for $900 Canadian. This was all done for me before I picked up the car, so I didn't have to run around later getting it done after I picked it up. It was very convenient and I was happy with the job and the price.

Quote: You gotta love living in SoCal. I own/manage a restaurant on Santa Monica Pier, and live in West Hollywood. One of the first places I'm driving my G (picking up next week) is taking PCH all the way up to Santa Barbara to visit some friends. One of them has a '07 G35 coupe so we'll probably engage in some friendly competition. Man...I can't wait.
Don't talk about driving the PCH...

I am stuck in Ohio for the Winter. And after that debacle in the BCS last night, it will seem a bit longer before the sun shines...

Seriously, I envy you. Was out there in '03 and have a trip planned to Napa in late September so I'll get to make the drive myself. Unfortunately, it will be in a rental car

Enjoy your new ride and take a few of those winding turns for me...

Holy smokes! You're the first person I know that actually put tint on the front windshield. Isn't that illegal in all 50 states (if not the entire world)?

It's not illegal in all states to tint the fronts. Plus, with the sides being 17%, it'll already make it difficult for other drivers to see you. Then, add the front windshield tint on top of that, other drivers will probably not notice you at all at night. But I have to admit, it looks pretty sexy -- just like in those car advertisements.

Yeah. That game was something huh? A friend of mine went to "THE" Ohio State for school and offered me a bet I couldn't refuse. We bet $100, but he gave me 5-1 odds. So now I have an extra $500 to spend on the car and planning on driving up PCH tomorrow morning to a dog beach with my bulldog. Napa Valley is definitely a great place to visit.

50% percent is perfect enough to block out lots of sunlight and harmful UV rays that age your interior. Anything lower than 40% and it will be hard to see out at night. The windshield tint is actually a great thing to do, keeps your interior from aging and getting ugly and wrinkly, especially Huper optik tint, that film blocks out so much heat and sunlight UV, its amazing, but also expensive.
