Finally Here!

I finally got my G last evening and it is a perfect match for me. Ironically enough in my travels today I was behind a 328xi coupe which was my other option and am so glad that I didn't get it. In either case... here we are with some pics:

Lakeshore

After wanting one since getting my first real job back in 2005, I finally was able to purchase the 2007. I'm loving every minute of it, and it's a huge leap from my old piece of crap Mazda Protege.

Thanks man, really appreciate it. I am so careful with her it's ridiculous. I'll have to get over this, but I've been parking in the middle of nowhere to keep these crazy holiday drivers away from my car. It's actually kinda funny, but she looks SO GOOD sitting out there. I am turning heads left and right.

There was a G-coupe (probably 05 or 06) that nearly crashed going past my house when they saw my baby in the drive way. I actually thought the guy was going to stop to check it out. I wouldn't have minded at all.

She's in the garage now and just had the brake dust cleaned off her legs and I shined the tires up a bit to. All ready for tomorrow!

God, I love this car...

I know what you mean about keeping the holiday drivers away. They are ruthless! My FX isn't new so I've been weened off the "everybody stay away from my car" stage. I still park WAY away from everyone though because I detest door dings. Plus I use the extra quarter mile walk to the store as an excuse to exercise.

Enjoy your G!

You're both right. I'm never going to get over it. I have to keep opening the door to the garage to check on her and make sure she doesn't need anything

^^Wow, you're G looks awesome. I know I am biased, but it's hard to imagine someone not finding the G a great looking car.

Also, I am envious that your leaves are still on the trees and your temperature is 63F.

SoulSustenance, I'm in So Cal too. I had to get mine in Mission Viejo even though Cerritos Infiniti is 10 minutes from my house.

You're right about the weather ... mid 70's today as I was driving up PCH toward Pepperdine with the top open (Just rubbing it in for the guys/girls in the snow!)

Thanks for the comps.

Dave Baker at Cerritos was a great guy to work with. I wish I could have given him the sale, but management said no to my VPP A when it first opened up in early December.

I just got the windows tinted today with a clear bra which is why I had a camera with me. I'll be posting pics soon.

My G (Journey/Obsidian Black/Graphite/Nav/Tech/Premium/Wheel Package) came in on Thursday. It came in with 10 miles on it. I took a few pictures today:
