Thanks Shane... Unfortunately Ivory Curry or Curry Pearl just doesn't quite have the same ring as Garnet Canuck!

I ordered my GE 6MT, Prem/Nav on Nov. 7th. Damn, I can't get off this site and it's killing me to wait for my new ride!

That's another one with the G35driver bug. Congrats you'll be more than content with your new GE 6MT. I'm guessing you didn't mean Nov. 7th seeing as how that was a month ago.

Unfortunately, I did a factory order to get $1500 of MSRP. I'm in Austin, TX and they're not really dealing on the new G, yet. We have no competition close by, so the Austin and San Antonio dealerships can have their way with us. Plus, there aren't any GE 6MTs with Prem + Nav but w/o Tech available in this region.

My car is due to arrive in early February.

OOOH! I got it now. Yeah, there are definitely members on this board that have waited (or are currently waiting) a long time for their G's. You aren't the only one waiting until Feb., in fact, I think some are waiting until March or later. Winter (isn't that like spring for you in Texas? ) will go by quickly and Feb. will be here before you know it. GE is absolutely stunning, you picked a good one.

I'm hoping the GE looks as good as think it will. I haven't seen it in person and the images I've seen on the web vary so much that I can't really gage the true color.

And yes, Feb. (late Feb) is, in fact, the beginning of spring in Texas.

I sure hope this winter passes quickly. I like your optimism!

The GE truly is a nice color. Like you, I only saw pictures of GE until I picked my Sport up at the dealer last week. The best way I can describe it is this: In overcast and darker conditions, GE looks much deeper. It really brings out the classyness of the color if you will. In sunlight, it is a much brighter red and looks much more sportier. You can really noticed the metallic paint when it is sunny. GE really does have a split personality and I am sure you will love it. As soon as I saw my car in person, I KNEW that I chose the right color.

Btw, I had over a five month wait for mine to arrive at the dealer so I know what you are going through.

5 months???? Oooooowwwwwww...

I saw the photos that you posted and couldn't decide what to think because of the dramatic difference in depth of color due to lighting. That might turn out to be really cool. I guess I wasn't sure if the color variance was just a function of reduced image quality for web based photos or if my monitor settings were weird (I'm on a large LCD monitor which sometimes renders colors strangely). In any case, thanks for posting the pictures and congrats on your beautiful car! I can't wait to get mine!
