thanks everyone for your comments. i was a little concerned that I went too wide on the rear, but the drop made everything way better. I was considering changing wheels and getting some 20"s instead, but now I am super happy with the looks and the ride.

Anyway I did get hold of a Sony T33 digicam (5 megapixels) although I sized them down so they don't take up the whole screen:

This was outside in the parking lot of Dot's Restaurant in Wahiawa by the way, hence the very homey, country atmosphere...and yes, I'm on the hunt for CHROME center caps.

Hey man! Saw your Car outside Mililani Longs Tonight at around 7:45p.m. Car looks Sweet with those Rims, Needs a Drop too go with them! You Live around Mililani? Or just visiting? I was leaving and had to turn around, I said a new G with Rims, HAHA then I remeber your car from these Forums! Too bad I was not in my G, I would have said Whut up! But anyway I say it in here, Whut Up Man!

Howzit Mike808! Yup, dat wuz me all right, I live here, doing some evening shopping with my daughter at Longs. I kinda figured that one day, when someone from here finally saw my G, they would pretty much know it could only be me because to my knowledge there is no one else on the island with these wheels (at least in chrome) at this time. Not even among my fourteen co-workers with '07 G35s (but one of them was thinking about ordering the same rims after he saw mine, and may have done so by now) but yeah, too bad you weren't in your G, we coulda had a micro "Meet 'N Greet" of just two guys, haw!

Are you in Mililani?

I don't know about the drop, had two pretty bad experiences with recent vehicles and a third I only dropped a very small amount (3/4") but still scraped in certain areas. Since I work on the road sometimes I have to respond to something really quick and don't have time to mess around with creeping over stuff, just gotta go. So I think I am locked out of a drop for now.

But another thing is I wanted to bring the rims out a little more with spacers since I can't have the drop, and my wheel shop said it was just about "at the limit"?!?!?! I see other guys putting 10" rims on their '07 Gs, are the offsets set so way back to make them fit? Hopefully you got a kind of close up look at the car because it seems to me the wheels could stand coming out at least a half to 3/4" more, especially in the front...anyway, "Whut Up" back to you and Thanks for remembering my car.

Cool Man! Yea Once i see those FX rims on your G, I knew it was the "Guy" from the forums, LOL. Yea I was driving my Parents Black Accord. Yea we Could have Had a Mini Meet-n-Greet, LOL. My G was at home Under Covers, Try not to drive it too much, as I just Dropped it with Eibach springs, and the Back is Cambered out, So waiting For the Eibach Camber kit to arriv, so I can get an Alignment Done.

Hmm sounds like you are a part of the HPD gang? I have a good freind that works Wahiawa-Wailua side, or used to I think, Think he went to Town side now. If you are part them, I can Understand why you Don't want to Drop it, Gotta get to places Quick

Yea I live in Mililani right acorss the street from the shopping center you was at? Do you live in Mililani Also?

I did not want to Walk up to your Car, Bumbuy they Think I checkin out your Car for Steal Um or Something , LOL I just drove by the Stall it was Parked at. So Could not really tell. Maybe next time we can meet up sometime and checkout each other G's! But from that fast Dirve by, the Rims looked good the way it was, Does not look like the Rims are too far Into the Fenderwhells?? But like I said daytime I would be able to tell better if it needs spacers or not. Aiight man well maybe sometime we can meet up, if we Live in the same area, LOL. aiight Laterz or PM if you like meet up sometime

Looking forward to seeing your ride after the camber adjustment. And yes I am with HPD, in fact I work in the same Wahiawa/Mililani/North Shore district and probably know your buddy. I also live in Mililani, on that stretch of Kipapa just below the freeway (Mauka is for the rich folks!).

Hmmm, I wonder if there is a drop kit spring that only lowers it so far (like slightly less than an inch)? How much did your car drop, and what version of Eibachs did you use? I used the Sports last time and my car went down between an inch-and-a-half and two, and I understand the other Eib kit drops it about an inch to an inch+half, wish they would make one that drops an inch or less, maybe even 3/4". Doesn't sound like much of a drop but it would make an improvement in the looks regardless, plus it would make me a customer...see you around and let me know (via PM is good, too) when your car is set.
