install Stillen exhaust for 07 G35 Sedan?

Should I get the Stillen exhaust or wait for another company to put one out?

$964 Stillen cat-back exhaust
$99 Labor

That is $1063 before tax...

I was thinking about lowering with Eibach springs as well...

Personally- I am not a big fan of the Stillen system. I think the cans looks kind of bulky and hang pretty low, especially if your looking at lowering it. There are pics of a black Sport (I think) with Stillen and lowered on H&Rs (again, I think). Ill see if I can find it...

User is Asuh, heres the link with his new rims as well: https://g35driver.com/forums/media-share-v36-sedan/153770-pictures-g-20-sevas.html

The Stillen sounds good, but I would wait for another exhaust system. I don't like the way it looks either.

I concur on the Stillen exhaust. Not sure I like the tone, and think the stainless cans look too big because they are so bright. I think they’d look better if a bit smaller or oval in shape. I guess I lean to "conservative" on this car. If it were installed on a red or yellow coupe I’d probably like it.

I do however like the Eibach spring which I have order and they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Tirerack.com called me after ordering and said they were back ordered 2 to 3 months!! Their price was $235 delivered. I reorder from Stillen - $275 with shipping. I’ll post my feedback.

Although terrycs has already given a ton of information on the Eibach springs, I’ll give another’s perspective. I hope it’s all positive like his. I plan to get them install this Friday. By the way do some research on install pricing before buying. I was quoted from $200 to $325 to $615 just to install. I expect it to be a big improvement in appearance.

On another note...

Sean, thanks for the two pictures of new G's with the Stillen exhausts. What really struck me was the wheels. The dark wheels really change the looks of the car. Some one on the VFR mail list said it best "dark wheels are like hairy legs on a beautiful woman."
