Finally my 20" rims on Ivory Pearl

Hi,
As many of you know I ordered DPE forged wheels like 3 months ago and those 3 months felt like forever. I wanted the wheels to fit perfect and did not want any issues with rubbing whatsoever. I guess I learned a lot when I had my 3 series BMW to do it right the first time around. I had a lot of concerns fitting 10's in the rear but with the help of the guys at DPE , it worked out exactly how I wanted it. When they say its custom fitted, they realy mean it Thanks for all those who helped me out on this forum, this community is great and there is already so much info for this new car. It really helped me decide which set up to go with.

Here are the details:

Front- 20x8.5 (Falken 452) 245-35-20

Rears- 20x10 (Falken 452) 255-35-40

DPE Variant R07s Forged aluminum wheels /brushed aluminum finish/polished lip

I could have went with 265 35 20 tires or even 275 without rubbing now that i look at it. But didnt want to run any negative camber so i stuck with the 255. I was surprised to see that my car wasn't to high and there is about 3 inch wheel gap. I took some teaser pics right out of the tire shop. I will clean up the wheels and take some more shots. Coilovers are next

Thanks to Jojo and Lilherc @ DPE
Also Kevin @ Zoom for the tires.

Wow, looks awesome Great choice with DPE's

I'm now worried that my 19's will look small. NY roads suck so I couldn't go 20's Wish I lived in CA

The wait is killing me. I have another 3-4 weeks to wait.

More pictures!!!!!!!

Looks great E! That wheel design seems strangely familiar...

Surprised you went with just 255's in the rear, especially on 10in. rears. Looks a little on the stretched side but that can look pretty cool in itself. Would be interesting to see a rear shot to see how flush they are with the fenders.

The drop with the coilovers will finish off the look nicely! Keep those pics comin'!

Great job Eric ... I like spoked wheels myself on the 07 sedan (Hikos_G's fault?). Judging by the time stamps, you either didn't go to sleep, or you are anxious to get up early to wash your car!

Ryan thought they gave you +42 in back. I kinda thought it should be higher and your +48 would make more sense. I think you'll be amazed at how much the tire moves in after lowering. I didn't get a chance to get over there when you picked up your wheels to check out the clearances ... how did the clearance look on the insides?

Great wheel choice! I think it will look amazing once its dropped! I LOVE it. I would have gone with the 275s in the rear though, I like the tougher look with more rubber in the back...

Your 19s will look just fine, I get a ton of compliments on mine, everyone asks if they are 20s- Then they think your really cool and original for getting 19s and resisting that urge to just have to 'slap some Ds on it' as some folks like to say

p.s. - women also realize your not trying to compensate for something by buying larger rims....

nice wheels. def shoulda went with wider rear tires. wider tires do not cause negative camber, dunno where u got that idea from
