Liquid Platinum G35X

I posted these pictures in the detailing forum (I applied a coat of sealant this morning), but figured I'd post 'em here too:

Wow, that looks awesome!! I'm curious, what brand of sealant did you use?

Per the recommendation of George from Detailed Images, I used Poorboy's EX-P Sealant. It was VERY easy to work with. Tonight or tomorrow morning, I am going to wax her with P21s Concours Carnauba Wax (again, recommended by George).

I washed the car with Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds.

Looks great. It seems like the people across the street have a 7 series BMW and a Honda Pilot...

Good eyes. The dude also has a convertible 6 series. They bought the Pilot for the winter, and I kind of respected the choice.

Sounds like a pretty nice neighborhood, but I bet it got a lot better when the G came home!

For the winter, I would go with either our X or if I needed an SUV I would probably go with the QX or FX depending on size.

Beautiful! LP is such a elegant color.

BTW, its recommended that you wax over sealant? Don't you usually seal in the waxing...?

My understanding is that the wax goes on top of the sealant, and those were the instructiosn suggested to me by George over at Detailed Images:

George
The P21s is incredibly easy to use--easiest wax I've ever used. I was tempted to put a second coat on, but exhaustion was a factor. (I ended up waxing the car Saturday evening, after the sun was safely below the horizon.) I woke up early this morning to go to running, and I made a couple of stops looking for a spot to take some pictures. It was pretty early, and the sky was overcast, so I don't think the pictures do the car justice, but here are the best ones. If the day complies, I'll take some better ones tomorrow.
