A few pics (and video clip) of Stillen exhaust install

Hello. We just installed a Stillen exhaust on my 07 6MT this weekend, so I took a few pictures. I also made a quick video of the exhaust once installed so you can hear what it sounds like. Youtube URL:

For anyone interested in installing the exhaust themselves it is a simple unbolt/bolt procedure. We did it with a jack and jackstands and assorted wrenches. The only difficulties we ran into were the bolts on the stock exhaust being very tight and not having much room to get good leverage without the car being on a lift. Also, Stillen did not send the correct gasket for the new system, so we had to make a trip out to Napa to find one that worked (with slight modification).

The sound inside is not bad at all. I suppose at times there is some drone (like maybe long stretches of highway at the same RPM?) but I would not call it annoying at all. This is my first after-market exhaust and I like it a lot. The car is a daily driver and it's definitely acceptable as such.

that exhaust looks great on your GE!!!!!!!

i think where we all went wrong when making these Stillen video clips, is that we put the cam to close to the exhaust and it sounds way tooo loud. Someone needs to do a drive by or put it further away to get full Stillen Experience haha
