Eibach Springs Installed

I've attached a few shots of my car with Eibach Spring installed. I have to say I'm very impressed with the ride these springs give. It's not too low and the ride is great. I don't feel I've sacraficed anything.

I plan to tint the windows soon but need to find a film I like. I want 35% or lighter. I've noticed some are too shiny, some are too blue, etc. I'm looking for a pure grey tint. Any suggestions on a brand of film?

Nice Shots and Color Man! I am getting ready to order some Eibach springs also, But I called Eibach and they said they won't have anymore 07 Springs for the Sedan ready untill Middle of June!! This is at the main Eibach Building, and I was going to got Through Summit, but it said a 30day wait till Shipped! Damn, I am going to try Stillen tomorrow, but think they charge a bit more for than Summit??! Why is that? Can you tell me where you picked up yours at? And how long did it take to arrive?

Drop looks great has eibach come out with the camber kit for the 07s' yet? They are pretty in expensive and I highly recommend them just for peace of mind. Also you didn't mention alignment but wait a couple weeks to get one because the springs will do more settling trust me I learn this the hard way. As far as a grey tint that rules out ceramic tints since they are more of a earth tone to them I have V-kool which was rather expensive and does a good job of keeping the interior cool but I think smoke tint would look best on a silver car. I say go with Metallic, Smoke or a combination of the two.

I got mine through Stillen. I believe I paid $275 with shipping. They had 3 sets when I ordered. I originally ordered from the Tire Rack at $230 plus shipping, but they were back ordered also. It easy to charge less when you don't have them in stock, it at least gives them a chance at selling a set. Good luck getting your springs.

PS: I got them in about 5 to 7 days.

Check the "morning at Eibach" thread for info. And yeah, it's not cheap.

Thanks Perry. Yes, according to Terrycs they have a chamber kit on the market now. If I recall it was about $275. I plan to let the springs seat a little bit before alignment and chamber kit. I should probably order the kit now though.

I have not tinted a car in many years. Now there are more options and some are odd.

Thanks Wayne. Your car looks great as well. I loved the photo's taken on your lake drive.

What type of tint did you have installed? I believe your is 35%. Is yours a nice smokey grey? Looks great from what I could tell in your photos.

Thanks, yes it is 35% and it is a smokey grey color. I had the dealer do it with the same vendor that did my last G35 , since I I was satisfied with my last tint job. I will look it up and send you a PM later tonight.

Car looks great with the drop. I think seeing these pics may push lowering to the front of my mod list....hmmmm I'll have to start looking into this a bit more.

As far as tint goes I have 35% suntek film installed, the color is a nice dark grey and I have a few pics in this thread showing the tint:

I'm glad to see that the damage from your traffic mishap was repaired, and well I might add!

Thanks Shawn. The springs create a really nice ride as well. I knew the lowered look would better but I was afraid the ride would suffer. Not at all. Seems to corner better with less roll and it takes the bumps well. I'd highly recommend the mod.

Yeah, on the body work, it not 100.00% perfect but I can live with it. That’s got to be a tough business to be in, bodywork. It’s impossible to satisfy ever driver. They did well.

Yeah, your Suntek windows look nice, thanks for the link.

Actually the wheels are Stern ST1's. 18 x 8.5 with 45mm offset. I made a custom set of caps this weekend. I milled the original center caps down so they were flush with the wheel. Sanded, polished, then epoxied on just the top of the original G35 caps. It really improves the looks of the wheel IMO. They do look like a set from the first series G35. The chrome caps polish it off a bit I think.

I will say since I bought them I've seen some very nice wheels posted on this board.
