Winter boots outfit

Finally got a chance to test-fit the winter setup I got from MrBig! (Great guy and great communications) Even though they are slightly used, at $500 shipped, it was a steal I couldn't pass on.

Setup:

Wheels: Kazera KZ-T 17x7.5
Tires: Dunlop Winter Sport 225/55R17

Sorry for the crappy shots, I was in a rush.

I think it looks good.

Those KZ-T's look similar to the wheels from the 1st gen sedan.

looks surprisingly good for 17s. so the 17s definitely clear the brakes. any issues driving, turning, accelerating, stopping, etc.?

i live in DC area, and am leaning towards some cheap high performance all-seasons, since i never drive on snow covered roads. thinking about getting the ASA JH8 Black wheels from Tirerack, with Sumitomo HTR H4 (cheapest tire), since i probably will use them for just 2 months at most.

any thoughts, ie, go with performance winter tires instead of HP all season?

Looks good...Can't believe you bought winters already. I'm still trying to order a set of 20" wheels for the rest of the summer/fall

I didn't drive it, just mounted those two to see what it would look like. It was too hot to put the other two... I don't foresee any problems. Everything clears although it's definitely tight in the front - there is only about 1/4" between the front calipers and the inside of the wheel.

Same wheels I run for the Track and Winter.
Black also.
Gotta love them wrapped in Dunlop Winter Msport.

Nice wheels Speed.
Be carefull when balancing if its such a tight space in the front with the weights

Good eyes.

I gave them a quick rinse because they had some brake dust on them.

I found this setup here on G35driver.com - on the Marketplace forum. Bought it from MrBig. I'd suggest you look up here first and see if you can't find anything, then you can also check Tire Rack. They have some good deals.
