Finally some pics...need some opinions...

Okay I wanted to do something a little different, now I can't decide if I like it. I really like it from certain angles, and not at all from others. Let me know what you guys think of the pillars...

Its definately different...I dont think i like it on an Ivory car. Black, MAYBE, but i think its too much. JMO!

I don't think it looks that bad... It does sort of chop up the window line.

It would look better if you painted them the color of your car.

I don't like anything that interrupts the lines of the car, which I think basically any vertical additions do.

not my style. maybe keep it black, and paint all the chrome trim around the windows black also? i've been looking at my dad's 07 E-class, and his is all black around the window, and i like it

That's not a bad idea. I did it because the chrome around the doors is more chrome than I would expect, and to me it just kind of clashes with the black pillars. Something has just never looked quite right to me with that contrast and this was at least a quick try to fix. I wonder how blacking out that chrome around the doors would look...not a bad idea. Thanks!
