Wait I think I asked the wrong question, do these "Taillights" and not headlights have the cutouts? because it doesn't look like they do???

Does the film over the reverse lights kill what little light we do have at night?
Will I be able to see anything while backing up in the dark?

I don't like the look of the cutouts on the revers lights and want to avoid that if possible.

I can see the cutouts on the rear... there's a color difference there.
Those have cutouts.

But the reverse lights dont... and I wonder how that affects the reverse lights at night.

Agreed! I bought the overlays, but left them in my garage and they disappeared.

Does anyone have good pics of them installed on a Liquid Platinum, front and back? If so, I might by another set.

BUMP. Anybody have LP with the tails and heads filmed? Trying to decide whether to paint the headlights or not.

Nice, man mine arrived last week but firstly I don't have a decent place where I can fit these myself, and secondly I need to wait another month to find a decent tint shop to fit them and even then I'm $hitting they'd do a crap job, I guess I'll have to explain it to them very slow and precise.

Yes those do have the cut outs. You can see that they do. If it werent the ones with the cut outs, it wouldnt look white.

But on any event, I just ordered GTR tail light overlays and rear valance overlays for my obsidian G!!! its gonna get shipped on monday! I cant wait to get them and hopefully my install will go smoothly. *crosses fingers*

I will attempt to install it myself.

Im thinking the rear valance overlay install will go well since it looks straight forward and generally, ppl have said that it only took them twenty mins.

Im gonna practice on that first. After I have installed that successfully, I will then go for the tail lights. hehe

Wish me luck! But I probably wont be getting my overlays for another 1-2 weeks.
