did u know what steps were taken inorder to paint the grille and trunk lid?
jus wanted to make sure they strip off the chrome n cooper layer and then paint. mine so far so good, i had one rockchip so far on my grille and it only dented in a lil bit, paint didnt chip at all.

I dont know the exact procedures they used. But I know for sure they sanded it down and then applied something something primer I dont know I am not too knowledgable in regards to painting. It took them about a day and a half to finish it all.
Prelude you just left the G35S sign and took off everything else? Hmm I need to go find your thread again and look at the pictures.

The black grill...blacked out trunk trim...man when you get your overlays its going to be Batmobile-esq. Very nice. Make sure to post when you get the overlays.

I dont know if I want to try installing the overlays myself or having a place do them. So far I got quotes from two different tint shops one said about $80 to install and one said anywhere from $50-100 but didnt give me a definite price.
