pic request: lowered on Tein H

Hi eveyone, i was searching through the pics and it seems everyone has eibach or h&r, but I was looking for a more subtle drop. If anyone has any pics lowered on the tein h techs (pref on stock 18's) please post

Thanks!

Courtesy of ommjido. All the drops are similar though in terms of how far they come down. They all just sit a bit different, so its just a personal preference instead of picking by the drop measurement.

Check the sticky for the spreadsheet that Terry put together too, it has the specs on everybody with links to pics. Props again to Terry for doing this, still one of the most helpful things I've seen on this forum!

^^^His drop looks perfect.. so i guess 06 springs fits the 07 sedans.. do you think it would be 06 sedan or 06 coupe springs that would fit? or it doesn't really matter? not sure if they're all the same size springs....

From what I've heard and researched, its the 06 sedan springs that fit the 07. However, the 07 is heavier so the published drop numbers are not correct as it will come down lower than what they claim. To me it seems like the actual real life drop is about the same as as Eibach or H&R. To boot...I've heard that Tein will sag over time on the 07 because they are not built for them. Could be completely incorrect, but that outside possibility of even being true is what swayed me away from them. I'd much rather have something made specifically for my year and model and Tein didn't have any plans of making an 07 version anytime soon from what I could find.

thanks that is exactly what i was looking for.

And i wasn't aware that these were for 06 models, i guess its between eibach or h&r then. I was just a little worried, on some eibach drops i've seen the rear sags a little more than the front

I have an 04 sedan on h techs and the rear is close to a half inch lower than the front! I am pretty sure it is due to the 12 inch jl sub in custom enclosure and two jl amps in the trunk though... all in all I like the back more than the front which is about 1.5 inch drop. It may be best to get the 350z h-techs as that should be about 1.3 in the rear and 1.4 in the front on a 1st gen sedan. Check out the stickies in the suspension section.
