Its installed with double sided tape and did come with 2 screws to drill, but there is no way in hell this spoiler is being ripped off without taking the trunk along with it. Also very easy to install other than lineing it up before pullin the back end of the tape off. Let me know what ya think.

Do you think if I pull off my factor spoiler and replace it with the Euro style without having any exposed holes? Or better questions has anyone removed there factory spoiler?

You probably won't have any exposed holes, but you may have an issue with how well its sealed and you may have water leak into the trunk.

If thats the case, you'd have to get the holes sealed and your trunk lid repainted.

I wouldnt take the spoiler off if its already there, you did pay for it. I made sure before i got my car if it didnt already have it, i didnt want to add the OEM one cause i wanted the EURO. Actually the dealership i went to didnt even have 1 car that had a spoiler, and they had well over 100 Gs at the time. But i have seen many of the SPorts with the OEM and its nice, but not as nice as the EURO.

If you already have one on there you could always remove it and sell it. Besides, its a sunk cost so you shouldn't let that hamper your decision to replace it. Thats like saying to not get new rims, since you already paid for ones on the car.

sunk cost.. niiiiice. I haven't heard that term in a couple of years. Ahh so nice to look back on econ classes in college.

Not to jack the thread, but I just got my g35 sedan 2008 a few days ago. It was my move up from my 2001 Maxima. Didn't realize so many people moved up from maximas to g35s.

Haha econ major here (as well as statistics) so of course I'd use a term like that...alongside many other nerdy terms.

I just got my 07X & knew I wanted a spoiler but not really diggin the OEM. I saw these pics & ordered today. I will also not drill holes & go with just the tape, in case I ever don't like it anymore. I bought it from Spoiler Store for $80 but another $70 to ship to Canada.

Doesn't matter, when you remove it, there will be paint damage anyway!

I went from a 2000 Maxima GLE (black) to my 2008 G35s (slate blue).

Sorry $80

& I know just using tape will still have paint damage if removing but easier to fix than holes?
