So as of now, we have 30 entries for the contest. If it stays this way we will be having 3 separate polls each with 10 entries to vote on. The top three will go to one last poll for final voting. If we get a couple more entries, I'll have to change things up a little. For example, if we have 32 contestants, I'll create 4 polls each with 8 entries......and the top 2 from each poll will go one to the final poll. Hopefully this all makes sense.

There are only a couple of days left, so get your pic up now if you haven't already.

actually i think its a little unfair.. who is going to guage who is in which poll? is it random? there has to be an easier way to do this... isnt there an online website that has free "polls" that we can all vote on... to me it just seems weird to have a bracket type poll just in order to fit all these cars in..

 

so what exactly are you trying to say? even if you end up in the last poll with them technically ur still going to lose right

That would be awesome. Seed the top 16 and then random draw to fill in the rest of the bracket and let everyone vote 1 day per round. A bracket format would be SICK! I would be thrilled to make the sweet 16 though with all these hot sedans in this thread....

Think about it- say Terry and Hikos met in the semis and you had to vote for one or the other!!!

 

great idea Shane....heres an idea for the structure of the polls... make the poll with the 8 contestants by name..then on your OP put the picture of each of the contestants and just tell everyone to vote and not post any comments...that way you have only the pics of all 8 contestants and you have the actual poll.....no need for everyone to comment on each voting thread. Does that make any sense? Can you close the replys but keep open the actual voting?

My plan was to randomly select members for each of the 3 or 4 polls that I'll be putting together.......and then go forward as I've described previously. I figured that would be a fair way to select whom goes in each poll. Also, I wasn't planning on having these polls open for any comments.......strictly voting only.

This isn't written in stone or anything, so if you guys can come up with a better idea, I am all ears.

I really like the idea of having people go head to head though at some point.

GC maybe I'm not exactly sure of your plan, but maybe we could do it like a modified version of the NCAA tournament(sorry its almost that time and I'm already giddy). What if we had 4 polls which would be the equivelent of 4 regions. It would be open polling in those. Then in the Final 4 we could do head-to-heads, making semifinals leading up to a finals head to head showdown?

 

LOL! Whoa, whoa, whoa! I should be saying the exact same thing about you guys!! The only thing that I should be in the running for is being one of the first to run 20's when the 07 G's first came out. Didn't even consider entering but Shane so kindly posted up a shot for me.

Didn't think this would escalate into such a heated 'contest' but with all the hot G's showing up on here, it's gonna be nothing short of spectacular. Thanks for thinking this up and putting it all together Shane!
