Here is an idea I came up with recently. I have the Africa Rosewood (Bubinga) interior. I ran out a picked up a few board feet of Bubinga wood at the local lumber yard and fabricated an MP3 mount to go in my console. The wire comes in from below, I used the factory black plastic pens tray slightly modified (I plan to cut a thin piece of bubinga to cover the bottom of it this weekend) and I have a perfect, tight fit. My Zune player is easy to access. I don't have to fumble around with it while driving or worry about it sliding off of my console while cornering. If I need access to storage below I can simply lift it up.

Looks awesome. Dumb question though, does the Zune interface with the car the same way as an ipod? Use the same cable connections and does the car control it the same way (eg through the touch screen)?

Thanks. I happen to have an 07, so I don't have the amazing Ipod interface you do in the '08. No, I doubt the Zune interfaces. If I had an 08 I would buy the Ipod just for that cool feature. One of these could just as easily be made for and Ipod though.
