I picked up the car from the body shop this afternoon and decided to take a ride down to the nearby beach to take some pics since it was newly modified and clean.

Yeah, special thanks to Jose (Ionic), the grill fit in perfectly. I even had the body shop paint some of the lighter colored parts behind it black so you can't see them through the mesh.

I'm going to pick up an Infiniti trunk emblem this weekend and stick it on to finish things off.

 

I'm glad you decided to get the emblem. I have the same type of grill on my Altima, and it didn't look right until I got the Nissan emblem. There was just too much of a void. Looks good BTW.

 

Thanks! I meant to have the emblem ready to put on when I picked up the car, but just didn't have time. I wanted to give it a shot sans badge for a day or two to see how I felt but right away it was evident it needs to be there.

I guess someone swiped it the night I dropped it off at the body shop. Their facility is fenced in so I had to leave it outside the gate. Man that sucks.

THe grill looks OK but its very open. Almost looks like the car is comin in to eat you or somthing. i know id be scared if that car were behind me.

 

As I said above, I'm putting a Mt. Fuji emblem in the grill this weekend...

and one more for the trunk...
