My floor lights goes on when my auto headlights come on so they are on all the time at night, not just when I open the door.
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Doing the floor lights is'nt that hard to do. Just need to tap into the headlight switch wire and then the other wire goes to ground. The hardest part is to find the wire that turns on the headlights.
Here is the website that I got the lights from http://www.ijdmtoy.com/webpage/products/Strip.htm My friends at Amplified Motorsports in Monterey Park, CA help me install the front floor lights. I was too lazy to find the wire so I let them do it for me. There is a white wire and a black wire. Just T-tap or splice the white wire to the headlight switch. (I have to check again to see what color it is again) Then the black light to the ground. Then it should work. I did the back lights myself when I was bored at work. Took about an hour to do the back floor lights. Same concept as before, I just spliced into the existing wires that were connected to the front. If more people want to do this I might be able to try to make a DIY.
