I really like them. I agree would look better with a drop, but honestly maybe just a bit more rubber? I'm sure they are 225/40 and 245/40, but I think you can go a little more on the sidewall. Adjust the speedo or just deal with the speed difference, but then it would look super sweet I think.

Thanks guys, i appreciate the comments

I've been thinking of dropping it, but will likely wait for a decent set of coilovers to come along. I just want about an inch of drop and from what i've seen none of the springs out there offer this. (Anything more and the car will be scraping a lot of things around here).

Odd thing is, the G at stock height has the same wheel gap as my old dropped Maxima.

The tires are 245/40/19's by the way.

No spacers. The wheels are 19x8.5 +35 all around. Although i may have to get some if i do drop the car.

Thanks. The beauty of the silver one is that they're cheap enough to repaint after the fact and still come out ahead. That is, versus purchasing the gunmetal version instead.

Mike-

Your car looks hot with those rims! Will those fit a 2008 G35x with 19"? If they do, I want to get a set. I would presume that you're running 245/40/19? Can it be outfitted with 225/45/19 or even 225/50/19? I'm trying to get more rubber so that I don't lose the quality of the ride. My 2005 G35 coupe that I had were running 40F/35R and it was so bumpy. I'm not planning on lower the vehicle as I need the clearance for snow conditions...hence why I purchased the X.

Thanks. I'm sure they'll fit on the X, in fact i'd say it's actually on the conservative side for size and offset.

I do have 245/40/19s on them, but they feel no different from the 18" OEM 050a's. I was rather surprised that it rode the same, even with the lower profile. (The 19s are Falken FK452s with the reinforced sidewall.)

That said, 225/45 will have the same sidewall as the 245/40 so there won't be much of a difference going that route. Not to mention, 225 is a little too narrow for an 8.5" wide wheel. The 50 series is going to be somewhat taller and will affect your speedo.

From the little that i've been able to gather from several members here, and just studying photos, the Akebono set-up from the G37 will fit. But i have not been able to verify, still waiting on a contact from Riverside to get back with me.
