I do have 245/40/19s on them, but they feel no different from the 18" OEM 050a's. I was rather surprised that it rode the same, even with the lower profile. (The 19s are Falken FK452s with the reinforced sidewall.)

That said, 225/45 will have the same sidewall as the 245/40 so there won't be much of a difference going that route. Not to mention, 225 is a little too narrow for an 8.5" wide wheel. The 50 series is going to be somewhat taller and will affect your speedo.
Thanks Mike. I will probably need to go 245/40/19 but I really want 245/45/19, but if I go that route I'm afraid I might have too much tire and it will hit the suspension bar on the X. What do you think? Do you think I will feel a drastic difference going from 225/55/17 to 245/40/19 or 245/45/19 (if this option is available)?

You guys rock on this forum! There is so much to be learned from others

Did you somehow remove the 'Nismo' off of the wheels? The one thing I don't like is that wording, but I don't see it in your photos?

Looks great, BTW.

ovrkast, 245/45 won't be too bad. Your speedo is still going to be off by a bit. Although, If i'm not mistaken, there's someone else on here with those tires on his X. I can't put my finger on the name right now. From the 17s to 19s you will definitely feel a difference but i would say it's a good difference. Possibly slightly rougher ride but you gain in handling. In my case, from the sport 18s to these Nismo's there wasn't any difference in ride quality - possibly because the overall package is lighter so it reacts faster to road undulations.

GeeWizzard, yep i removed the stickers. They're only sticky vinyl that comes off with your nails. I didn't even have to clean up with Goo-B-Gone.

I did the same on the Altima Nismo 18s on my old Max.

G35Ian, thanks!
