which way to paint headlight housing??! *pics inside*
ok guys so i have a guy painting my headlight housings for me a glossy black to match the glossy black grille. Now the question I had was which how should i have it done? below are pics of a member on here which has the ip g35 sedan with the housings painted with some parts left chrome...and the second set of pics is the black g35 sedan with it all blacked out except the turn signal and foglight part. what do you guys think I should do? Also take into consideration my car is Blueslate.
thanks a bunch guys!
p.s I will be doing this probably next saturday so I should have pics up ASAP!!!!
Car #1: IP G-sedan with black housing w/ some chrome left

you think so?? hmm you are bias lol..sorry i stole your pics bro...I am kinda leaning towards the OB's housing...and ima also do the angel eye likes his as well...but man tough decisions we have to make in life...haha jk jk...but ya i dunno...
Vote #2..
For some reason to me, the chrome and black mixed together looks a lil tacky.
But I don't think you can go wrong either way.
GL.. i hope to paint my lights one of these days

lol i think i am leaning towards car#2...but i do think both looks good eitherway...but if im doing the angel eye car#2 look might be better cuz the angel eye will stand out more with more black rather then chrome...right?

I am not sure I understand what area you are exactly talking about...but if i am thinking right...i don't see why that would have an effect on the lighting...and when you say lighting you mean the intensity of the beam from the low beam, ya?
What about possibly painting the inner "housing/tower" and leaving the serrated rim around it silver. The two rims around the Projector and parking light might look nice unpainted.
How about color matching in blue slate?
