g35robby, did i ask for your help man? do you think i don't know about igor, and you're the only one who knows he does lights for our car? trust me man, i've done my research and have my mind set on what product i want to put on MY car. it would be different if i said to you, what is your opinion on these lights and are there other options? but guess what, I DIDN'T

like i said, this topic has been beaten to death and i didn't start this thread to talk about what company is better, cheaper, or any other criterion you think is necessary to mention to me. you first start off by saying i'm getting ripped off, i try to be nice and say, "igor does nice work, good luck"...then you come back with some more BS, then some more BS...don't worry about MY money, who's the one working for it...you or me?

i'm happy you're getting your work done by igor man, but don't try to be similar to some religious freak trying to shove your religion down my mouth like you are with igor's work. you are getting your work done by igor so i understand you have confidence in his work, but don't be some fanboy who thinks every part you plan on getting is the right part for everyone else. i know what i believe in, i know what i want, and i respect your opinion, but there is no need to bash on CC and tell me i am getting ripped off...if you believe that, then keep that to yourself

sorry about the bad pics, imma try to find a nice place to take some pictures sometime this week...i need to find a place where it's decently bright, but need to make sure the sun isn't shining on the grille cause then it's hard to see...i'll try to get some better pics up

thanks man, i appreciate the compliment. yeah i was thinking about changing the LED strips behind the projector shroud, but i think it will look good and almost OEM with the amber LED strips...there is a 350Z CC did with the orange LED strips, and I loved the way it looked...here is a link to the Z lights, they're similar

i haven't talked to mike at CC for a week or two now, but i think he should be finishing up this week...i only have one more payment to make and their mine!!! oh yeah, i'm thinking about selling my OEM headlights when I get the new ones in...if anyone is interested, let me know!

Yeah, i can't wait to see them, I just haven't really thought about doing this because I'm worried about the LEDS failing due to the heat of the headlights (I'm also running HID Fogs) So if that happens it's just going to be a huge pain.

i definitely hear where you're coming from, i might have to keep the stock headlights just in case lol...however, i think as long as the vendor you purchase the lights from understand what they're doing then i don't think it'll be a problem for LED's to burn out...

im not sure but im assuming CC is going to use some sort of pulse width modulation system so an overload of current doesn't go to a single LED...it's really all about what brand of LED's the vendor uses IMO...i think infiniti uses luxeon LEDs for our taillights...also, in my semiconductors course we talked about LEDs using different compounds than the traditional silicon LEDs...new companies are starting to use Gallium-Arsenide instead for the benefit of less output of heat...

how are those fogs treating you so far?

Wow, way over my head, but I was thinking about the heat from our HIDs causing the LEDS to fail, not the actual LEDS themselves. I changed the parking lights to LEDs and 2 of them died already, touch wood these stay and live on.

The fogs are awesome, i got different brands for the 6000k so they are slightly different in color if you look at them, but it makes a huge difference at night.

ohh i gotcha, i see what you're saying...what kind of LEDs did you use? i remember i was going to change out my parking lights too a while back and bought some 10 dollar ones off eBay from JDMtoys...i never installed them and don't plan on it, i can send them to you if you like...just in case those fail

you should post some pics of your fogs...whatever bulbs are in there in stock form totally blow, some 6000k would look pretty tight

Grill looks good bro,
Can't wait to see the headlights installed. It's taken long enough so far, so they better look sick. lol
I'm personally not a big fan of amber lighting but the way CC set up the prototypes make the projector area look a bit like a volcano erupting.

Csquared - What brand of LEDs did you use? I ordered a set of LEDs from superbrightLEDs and ended up putting them in my cousin's IS and they started burning out. I got some LEDs for my car from Hoen since they match the stock xenon color pretty well and they've been running great for 4 or 5 months now (knock on wood). You should also check out the LEDs by PIAA if you're looking for something around 6000k, I've heard they're quite good too.
