Hey Big8Gx. I'm just about to get my windows tinted and a clear bra done on my car and wanted to ask you how you like the 35% tint? I was thinking of going with either 50% or 35% myself, but can't decide. Do you have any pics you can post of your car?

Also, how do you like your Venture Clear Bra? I hear that it is better than the 3M.... Your thoughts?

Unless you have a friend or know somebody that owns a proffesional body shop who can proffesionaly paint and clear it then i would just buy the factory one. I had mine done at a shop my friend owns and all he charged me was a few round of drinks. A shop would normally charge 100-200 for prep and paint for the grill just for gloss black. Any metallic and you're close to the cost of the oem grill. DIY from a rattle can is cheaper, but you'll never get the smooth deep high gloss finish that you acheive from a high pressure paint gun.

I'll try and do it today, but it is cloudy in St. Louis. BTW, I've already chipped my grill, I guess I'm buying a new one each year

I saw the Midnight Black grill in person when I was at RIverside Infiniti last week and the metallic finish on it looks VERY nice.... Plus, you won't have to worry about the grill getting constantly chipped, which will happen pretty quickly if you paint it yourself. I don't think you will be disappointed at all... I plan to get one for my car sometime soon.

Awesome. Can't wait to see it on a light colored car. Takes a few pics of your window tint too, if you don't mind. I'm getting my car tinted this week and can't decide between 15% and 35%.

Will do, but the grill won't be on for a couple of weeks. I have to finish class and takes exams.
