I have MRR GT1s in silver. I love them and I get compliments on them all the time. I don't have any pics of them on, though. I'm waiting for my coilovers to come in to get som pics.

X2 on the compliments. Everybody tells me that the gt1s fit the G perfectly. It adds the sporty look but doesnt take away from the classiness of the vehicle. Ive always been a fan of the multispoke design and it just flows very well with the styling of this car.

5 spoke wheels look good on the sedan, but i feel they are better suited for the coupes. The GT1's are a perfect wheel for the sedan.

Btw, be sure to talk to Charles at B2Autodesigns (sponsor on here) if you decide on some MRRs. I had a great experience getting mine through him.

MRR GT1s are over rated and everywhere.
They are on every car in every color.

If you want to look like everyone else, do it.
But if you want to be unique, don't.

Those are also heavy as hell lol
Not helping performance, just slows you down.

I got them because I really liked the way they looked, and they came in the sizes I wanted. If I wanted to look like everyone else, I'd just jump on the Volk/Work bandwagon. They make some really nice wheels, but I swear they could put their logo on a chevy wheels and some of you guys would instantly think it was the shiit.

And....what makes them horrible...and who died and made you judge of all rims? I have nothing against you but you're seeming pretty arrogant here. The OP seemed to like the wheels and is considering them, and you come in and just start bashing them. $3-4k on wheels just isn't a smart thing to do for most people, and the owners of these wheels seem to like them quite a bit. Besides, the compliment I got about them from the driver of a Ferrari 599 on HREs means a bit more than a little bashing from some guy on the internet (no offense).

John

BTW, I will admit they don't look too good in black, but silver is a different story.

I'd like to see that compliment by them. I would love to see it.
Yes they are nice, but thats about it.
They don't look good in any other color. The china barrel used for these rims are weak and heavy. If you are putting performance mods on your car and trying to make it faster, your not doing a very good job by getting these.

I'm only giving my opinion on the wheels.
Giving information the OP might change his mind on.
Obviously if you have them you'll be offended but this a forum. There are ups and downs on every product. But since this is something that has been seen and herd of on every damn forum, it's getting old.
These rims are grandpa old. I won't be surprised if these were on a 1950's car lol

Anyways, if you like them OP get them. But everyone has them, no one is surprised to see them. I have threads bashing on these rims everywhere. In audi forums, honda forums, benz forums, and bmw forums.

Get the other 2 rims if you want more of a unique look.
I'm not sure if you are going to track your car, but if you are.
Your better off getting Axis.

Volks and Works look better and are better quality. But unique is definitely not one of their best attributes as a TON of people on these forums run Work and Volk rims.

As for weight, some of them are lighter and some are not. I had a set of 3 piece Work VS-SS rims on my last car and they were heavier than the stock rims. They were excellent, high quality rims that looked great, but from a performance standpoint (weight), they weren't all that special.

As for Axis rims, they are no better or worse than the MRRs. Axis is just another Chinese knockoff brand rim. They just charge more and try to cultivate a higher end image.

Bottom line is, buy what you like and what looks best to you. I'm sure there are many BMW, Lexus, MB, etc. owners who look down on us for buying a cheap Infiniti G35. Let's not be a$$holes about someone's choice of rims.

Forgot to give my suggestion on rims - I would go for some 19" G35 coupe rims. They can be purchased very cheaply and are true forged, strong, relatively light rims. I'm also partial to the M45 19" sport rims which are made by Enkei using their MAT process and are thus very strong as well. I also like the new rims the 370Z comes with. When people start selling their take-offs, I may buy a set.
