So my girlfriend has a black IS250 and I swear that her headlights are darker than mine. Not the clear part, but the chrome stuff underneath. I've seen a lot of people painting their headlight housings black in this forum, but has anyone tried doing a smoke chrome look? Would that be possible? I haven't really been able to find many OB with black headlights, but the ones I've seen don't really float my boat. Black looks great with White, Silver and other colors, but not the black (IMO).

A quick fix would be Bat's overlays. He offers a 3/10 and a 7/10 tint. The 3/10 tint would give you this king of look.... but these are just overlays.
If you want to mod the lights, there are few guys in these forums that may be able to help, but it's gonna cost you a little bit of $ and a few days without lights.
