Took The G to an Ice Event

Went to a 'car control clinic' today and learned a few things about driving on snow/ice and generlly had a good times.

Few Things to brag about. I didn't crash into a snow bank or spin out or get stuck once. Every other person did. And no, dont think i was being a wussy driver. I pulled off the best time on the road course out of EVERYONE with a 138.8. Every other time was in the mid-low 1:40s I also got a congrats from the instructor because i was the only one that could keep a car sideways around the skid-pad for a time and a half

This was so much fun it should be illegal. BTW, i did all that WITHOUT snow tires Imagine if i had them.

Anyways. here are some pics.

When we got there it was -13 degress.

Doing 'The Oval' which consisted of 2 slaloms and a braking course. The one slolam was pure ice and you could see beneath the surface.

The G getting tail happy right past the camera

This was the braking excersize.

More Driftz0rs

At the road track getting ready to take off.

Rippin' it up on the course.

Skid-Pad Driftzors

Spin-Out

View of the whole thing

Overall, it was an AWESOME time. The X peformed flawlessly and i impressed the instructors.

The one instructor even called the G 'That beautiful black car' (this came from an audi owner.)

Just an epic time. Pics do not do, how much fun i had, justice.

This was in Prior Lake MN.

I did it with the Glacier Lakes Quattro Club. Check out their website. More dates coming up!
